Narcissism and the Web of Illusion

I wrote my latest book "Narcissism: The Web of
Illusion" to uncover the deeper truths behind narcissism
and really expose it for what it is to all who want to know.

What is narcissism? People always ask me this question,
since I write so much about it. Narcissism is, in psychological
terms, a personality disorder. But in my study of narcissism it
seems to be more than just a personality disorder. It seems to
be the very root of evil itself disguised as something good.

Evil is a lack of consciousness. Those who do evil deeds
have no compassion or empathy for their fellow human being.
Their behavior is motivated by self-gratification, "I want,
therefore I do!"

I call the book "The Web of Illusion" because narcissistic
personalities are masters at seducing others into their Web.
This is a web truly based on something that isn't real, or an
illusion. The illusion might be a false portrayal of love,
generosity and caring to cover up the very real fact that this
person is using you for his own self-gratification.

Narcissistic people don't often appear to be evil or appear to
have evil intentions. This is where the illusion comes in.
Nothing is really as it seems. The narcissistic individual may
be very good looking, charming, talented, capable and even quite
accomplished in his life. He may be a real attentive lover or
friend, in the beginning, leading one to believe he is a normal,
healthy, caring person.

It is after the victim is caught in the Web that the behavior
shifts to something, well, unbelievable. Most don't want to
believe that this new behavior is real and make excuses for the
narcissist. "Perhaps he is just under stress right now, or
having a hard time, after all..." The victim of narcissistic
abuse is more likely to believe that the first three months of
the relationship was the part that was real and what he/she is
seeing now is the illusion. But really its the other way around.
The illusion is that the relationship was ever real to begin
with.

Those who "have a heart," or rather a conscience, and who have
the ability to experience compassion and empathy, will find it
very difficult to understand this alien species. How
could someone not have the ability to care? It is
incomprehensible.

Yet alien is the closest word I can find to describe what a
narcissist really is. He is an alien masking as a human being
and getting those around him to believe in his humanity when in
fact, there is none.

The narcissistic aliens are among us and it is time we
pay attention. They are here in our communities, in our
politics, in our government, in our workplaces, and in our beds,
right under our very roof.

Reading Narcissism: The Web of Illusion is a call
to awaken to the truth of what is happening around us in regards
to these beings. It is a deeper look into what evil really is
and how we can protect ourselves from it.
