The Energies of These Times

The Council of 12 ... have asked me to speak a bit about these times, and about how we
can sanely go forward from now, continuing on our path of Light to do what we came here to do.
Given the current worldwide climate of uncertainty, even if individuals do not feel
personally impacted by what is happening, there is an indirect impact -- for we are all connected. We are all impacted by the mass consciousness
of humanity, and we as Lightworkers have a responsibility for shifting the lower vibrational frequencies into a higher
vibrational way of being. We are creating a new paradigm world! That's what these times are about, and each of us
is playing our role, whether we are conscious of it or not. The key, of course, is for us to become more conscious of
our creations, more aware of our thoughts and responses to the fear, and to consciously intend the changes that are
needed now.
We can do this, and we have LOTS of help from the "other side" to achieve what needs to happen!
Now, more than ever, people and countries across the globe are waking up to the truth of how small our planet is,
and the interconnectedness of all beings and nature. A crisis in one place impacts people living half way around the
world. A collapse in one part of our ecosystem affects countless other systems of life. The greed, power
mongering, and false sense of security of one superpower reaches its tipping point -- setting off a domino effect
across the planet.
As the outmoded and unworkable institutions and systems of countries collapse,
individuals feel the effects at the gas pump, in their bank accounts, at their jobs, as they seek to grow their businesses, and when driving amidst a
sea of angry and frustrated people.
Meanwhile, there is a plethora of website postings that are fear-based or fantasy-based -- setting off a wave of
additional fear within Lightworkers who are taking the information in at face value instead of using their intuitively
guided reason.
Keep in mind that there may be some truth to some of the postings, and that is part of the "hook." However, C12
advises us to always remember to check out information with our own heart, and to ask questions such as the
following to help us be discerning and avoid perpetuating the cycle of fear. A person who doesn't question can put
themselves into a compromised position that can be avoided by staying awake and continually questioning.
Questions to ask when digesting website postings and other material in the media (including the TV news!) may
include:

Is any part of this information fear-based?

What about the information is based on truth?
-
Is this a relative truth or a truth based on a possibility only?
-
Is this information connected to any of the following low-vibrational ways of being: judgment, hate, prejudice,
manipulation, punishment, control?
-
If there is something about this that is true, how does the information apply to me personally as a Lightworker?
-
As part of that question, how much of it applies to me, WHEN might it apply, and under what circumstances?
-
Also, what negative pattern within me (known or unknown to my conscious mind) is being triggered by this
information?
-
What can I do to shift this negative pattern?
-
How can I most appropriately respond to what I am taking in?
-
Is there something that's in my highest good to act upon, and when?
-
How much of my response to this information comes from me alone, and how much of it is from either other
people I interact with or from the mass consciousness?
-
What else would be helpful for me to know or do right now to get back into balance and to help myself and
others?
In order to advance spiritually to the greatest extent possible during this lifetime, it's important that we learn about
personal inquiry and become skilled in contemplating and inquiring about our path of Light.
As part of that, what allows for our steady and accelerated progression is in our questions: the questions we ask,
how we ask them, and even WHETHER we ask them. I mention that last point, as many times, we don't even ask a
vital question that could lead us to discovering a hidden obstacle in our way. Sometimes, it's because we don't feel
deserving, or we doubt that we can find out. Doubt is a significant obstacle on the path of enlightenment.
So is fear. Oftentimes, we can unknowingly "buy into" the collective consciousness fears and make them our own.
We do this without questioning whether (or how) what people are concerned about applies in a tangible, real way to
us. During these times of confusion and mass shifting of structures and ways of being, there will be many changes
and many adaptations that will need to be made.
Just because we see a big change coming up that affects humanity, or parts of humanity, as a whole, that doesn't
mean that our personal experience needs to match what the majority is experiencing. The key will be in our
awareness, our clarity, and from that our responses.
When we respond with intuitive knowing, guided by our own heart and intuitively guided reason, we create our own
unique path and response to world events.
As Divine ChangeMakers, which The Council of 12 says we ARE, we have the ability and the responsibility to forge
a path of higher consciousness during these times. In order to do this, therefore, our questions of spirit, and our
ability to balance and steady ourselves amidst the turmoil, are crucial.
Other qualities we can benefit from further developing in these times -- ideally reflected in our questions to spirit --
include listening, patience, determination, follow-through/action, commitment, and the ability to step back from the
minutia of the everyday and see the big picture.
To develop and make full use of these positive qualities involves ongoing regular inner personal transformational
work. In fact, we actually have been in the process of developing such qualities for lifetimes.
It takes a real commitment to ourselves and our path of Light to keep our inner work going under all kinds of
conditions.
Life offers many distractions and possibilities to become sidetracked from what is really important. It can be helpful,
therefore, to regularly question whether we are on track with our priorities and whether we are allowing outer world
circumstances to inappropriately take our attention away from our personal growth.
If we realize we have gotten off track, we can invite in the resources needed to change the picture. It's helpful to
remember that when we connect with spirit, we have access to help that is beyond what our conventional world tells
us is possible!
The C12 is inviting us to stay connected to spirit, regularly question what is "real", and remain committed to our
growth and path of Light.
