Do You Support Other Lightworkers?

I believe that we who are involved in becoming more conscious need an additional wake-up call. Too often, I see people--good people--unaware that they are an important part of the whole.

We are waking up to the fact that "we create our reality" and we have much more power than we believe over our circumstances and our world. But many are taking this to mean that we should only care about ourselves and leave everyone else to deal with their own creations and their own karma--alone. 

What we seem to forget is that we are part of a whole. The ONE. Yes, as we each find our way out the dark tunnels of our lives we can just run into the light and forget about the millions who are still lost and struggling. Many do that. And that's their choice.

But is that YOUR choice?

Do you not realize that you are the Hands of God? 

The Divine Mother-Father God reaches out through your Hands, and through your Heart. She sees through your Eyes and speaks through your Voice. 

Do you believe God wants you to forget your own brothers and sisters stumbling in the darkness? 

There are many Lightworkers who have difficulty in this world. They are still figuring out how this world works. They are still figuring out how money works. They are still figuring out why people--seemingly good people--lash out when the beasts of jealousy and selfishness make them close off their hearts and turn their backs on those less fortunate.

The old paradigm of dog eat dog and everyone just for themselves is dying. That paradigm was never meant for lightworkers, but they have been tainted by it. 

To become untainted, perhaps we can begin to open the fist that has too long been closed. Perhaps we can open the eyes that have too long been shut. I have no doubt that we have all been hurt many times by the takers of this world, and this has caused our own hearts to harden. But it is time to offer support to others--those who will truly appreciate our support--and then we can all make this world a better place. 

Have you ever experienced something like this: You find a wonderful little gift shop with inspiring art and books. It feels great there, and you love it. They play the music you love, the people are kind and honest. But the shop is a little out of your way, so you just buy all of your gifts at the mall, settling for mediocrity instead of inspired works. Months later, you drive by the shop and it's gone out of business. 

Why did it go out of business? Because it was not being supported by those who could have supported it. The owners went under. The artists went under. Those who would have been blessed by the gifts did not receive them. 

Let me ask you: Is art important? Is music important? Is kindness important? Are the things and expressions that nourish and inspire the Soul important? 

If you believe these things are important, then you may wish to decide to support those who offer them to the world. And, in turn, you will find that they are able to support you.

We ask you who read this to search your own hearts to find ways to support those who came here to do good. We can always do more than we believe we can, especially when we support one another with our efforts. 

This beautiful give-and-receive works for everyone. So, what can you do to be part of this cycle? Here are some simple ways:

If you enjoy someone's work, buy something from them. Send them email telling them you enjoy their work! Encourage them! Invest in them! Tell your friends about them. The returns will be great. They will take that supportive love and light, and shine it upon this lovely planet in ways profound and beautiful. Their work may touch the souls of future leaders. 

You never know what one small act can eventually become.

We have all heard of Charles Dickens. He was born into a life of poverty, accurately reflected in the characters of his books. As a young man, he sent a story to a magazine, placing all of his hopes on that story. It was rejected. But the editor was thoughtful enough to send him an encouraging note, telling him what a good writer he was and that he thought he had a wonderful future as an author. That one note determined the future of Charles Dickens. That one note gave him the hope and determination he needed to succeed. Because of that one note, millions of people all over the world have been enriched by the amazing insights of a talented writer. 

To be able to support others in a worthy cause or with their life's work should be viewed as a gift, not an imposition. I can just imagine the editor who wrote that note in Heaven, looking back over his own life's work. How much do you want to bet that he viewed the few minutes he took to write that note as the crowning achievement of his own life?

No matter who you are, or what your circumstances are, you can do something to support another. Even if it's "just" a note.

And then, you will have served as the Earth Angel you came here to be.
